“So what is ProPlay?”

ProPlay offers a unique safety solution for children’s play areas.

An excellent alternative to wood chippings and other play surfaces, ProPlay is impact absorbing, minimizing the risk of injury to children who fall from play equipment.

Designed to stimulate the appearance of natural grass, ProPlay creates a safe, practical, yet aesthetically pleasing environment in any setting.

The system consists of layers, each designed to maximize safety and comfort:

LAYER 1 – choice of artificial grass finishes.
LAYER 2 – high quality recycled foam provides a soft safe play layer.

ProPlay offers the following features and benefits:

· A safe play system which has been tested to meet European Safety Standards EN 1177 for CFH (Critical Fall Height) and BS7188: 1989

“Which ProPlay option is best for us?”

ProPlay can be installed to achieve three safety fall heights options, dependent upon the nature of its use.

For nurseries, where toddlers are likely to be playing at ground level and not climbing on play equipment, fall height will be less than for older children, where play equipment may be greatly elevated from the ground.

ProPlay products are vigorously tested. The following Critical Fall Heights were achieved under laboratory testing when installed in conjunction with artificial grass.

Critical Fall Height (CFH) can be: ProPlay impact thickness
1,3 m PP 25 (25mm)
1,6 m PP 35 (35mm)
2,5 m PP 45 (45mm)
3,0 m PP 70 (2 x 35mm)

“We’ve chosen our fall height option, can we choose different types of artificial grass?”

Yes! There are two different artificial grass options available with the ProPlay system, dependant upon the desired quality and appearance:

Option 1 – Artificial grass 24

A 24 mm carpet made from polypropylene yarn. Artificial grass 24 has the following advantages:

· Ideal for wheelchair or small wheel use
· Multi colours available
· Heat and frost resistant
· UV stabilized to resist fading from the sun
· Quick drying and low maintenance

Option 2 – Artificial grass 40

A premium quality 40 mm carpet made from low abrasion polyethylene yarn. Artificial grass 40 has the following advantages:

· A realistic, multi-green yarn-looks and feels like real grass!
· Super soft long fibers that cushion falls and keep cuts and grazes to a minimum
· Highly durable. Ideal for high use areas
· Carpet bounces back after play
· Heat and frost resistant
· UV stabilized to resist fading from the sun
· Quick drying and low maintenance
